tsMuxeR is designed to create TS and M2TS files for IP broadcasting as well as for viewing at hardware video players (i.e., Dune HD Ultra, Sony Playstation3 and others).

It supports video codecs H.264, VC-1, MPEG2 and audio codecs AAC, AC3 / E-AC3(DD+), DTS/ DTS-HD. With it, you can set muxing fps manually or automatically, change level for H.264 streams, shift a sound tracks, extract DTS core from DTS-HD, and join files.

When authoring mkv to a Blu-ray Disc or AVCHD, the video and audio remain untouched, so the quality is not impacted and the process is very fast.

Load the mkv file to tsMuxeR and soft subs, if you’d like to mux the subtitle. You can see the detailed information of the media file:codec, fps, tracks, etc.

Check blu-ray disk option. Set audio language if needed. Select Output type, here we will create blu-ray disk. Choose a folder to save the output file.

Enable the General tab, set the bit rate.

Constant Bit Rate (CBR) encoding means that you encode a file at a fixed rate, such as 128 Kpbs. For many people this is a common method of encoding MP3s.
Variable Bit Rate (VBR) encoding is a method that ensures high audio quality bit-allocation decisions during encoding. The encoder allocates an appropriate amount of data per second, depending on the complexity of the audio file.
Here I use tsMuxeR’s default mux VBR.

On the Blu-ray tab, create chapters manually or automatically.

To hardcode the subtitle, you need to adjust the position of subtitles on the screen.

In addition, you can split the file or cut off the part you want to get rid of. Click Start Muxing to create the blu-ray structure.

Confronting dozens of video converter on download sites, you must have been confused which is the right one to put HD videos on your iPod, PSP, Zune or Nexus One, etc.

If so, this is the place for you. Recently, Daniusoft released a free Video Converter that handles most audio and video file types including HD videos (a great feature also attracts me) like M2TS, TS, MKV to AVI, WMV, MPEG, MOV, FLV, MP4.

In addition, extracting mp3, wav, wma from video is for guys like me who collect background music of movies.

Daniusoft Video Converter Free

On the Settings dialog, you can configure encoder, resolution, bit rate, sample rate and channels for the output files so as to get a suitable and better quality on your players. Do a batch conversion of up to 5 videos at once, if you don’t want to set the preferences for each files.

Daniusoft Video Converter Free

Another sparkling features, Daniusoft Video Converter Free allows you to cut out video clips by manually setting the beginning and ending points.

Daniusoft Video Converter Free

Otherwise there are advanced features for DIY your videos. Crop the frame size to fit on your portable players, adjust the brightness, add old film or gray video effects and at last, design a watermark if you upgrade to the professional edition.

Daniusoft Video Converter Free

When playing HD files, you must ever want to do some editings to cut the unwanted part, join pieces of files together, crop the frame or convert the files types. Here i recommend four free useful programs to edit HD videos.

MediaCoder
MediaCoder is a free universal batch media transcoder, which nicely integrates most popular audio/video codecs(H.264, XviD, DivX)and tools into an all-in-one solution. With MediaCoder, you can converting to between most popular audio and video formats, set transcoding parameters, split video, trim video, adjust resolution and contrast.

MediaCoder--Free HD Video Converter

TSSplitter
TSSplitter is intended for splitting and joining large MPEG Transport Streams containing any kind of stream encoding, including MPEG2 and H.264, to burn them to DVD. The advantage compared to other similar tools is that you can later join the files and get a file that’s 100% like the original source file.

TSSplitter--Free HD Video Converter

Free Video Converter by Extensoft
supporting wide variety of video formats from AVI to Flash (FLV) and high-definition high-quality format H.264, Free Video Converter can help users to convert, split, merge and edit movie files.

Free Video Converter--Free HD Video Editor

TsRemux
TSremux is a transport stream that works with blu-ray/Sat/OTA and now MPG/VOB/EVOB stream support. It can trim streams at the beginning and the end, pick and choose elementary streams to be kept, remux PCR-less streams, remux program streams (MPG/VOB/EVOB) into TS/M2TS and demux subtitle streams.

TsRemux--Free HD Video Editor
