Hotmail Watcher is an email notifier add-on for Firefox that can notify the user whenever new email has arrived in a Hotmail account. It is great helpful if you are engaged in other work or don’t have the habit of visiting the site.

The extension places an icon with a counter in the Firefox status bar upon installation. The counter will be updated as long as the user is logged into the Hotmail account.

Click the icon, and you will log into the hotmail. Right click the icon to configure the timeframe (the default is 20 minutes). The alert sound will remind you when the email updates. You can also disable the automatic checks and check only on the your request.

Chrome Extensions are similar to Firefox Add-ons in that they allow third-party developers to add new functionality to the browser. As a user, it is quite necessary to install some plug-ins for it to improve its application and your Internet experience.

Google Chrome for Mac gets Extension support

Users who use Google Chrome for Mac to browse the Web, but still pine for the add-ons available for browsers like Firefox, can install the latest, possibly not-so-stable developer-channel build.

Google Chrome Session Manager

This add-on allows the user to save the current browsing session so that it can be loaded again at a later time. All the relevant information will be saved so that the user can start exactly the way it was when the session was saved.

Linky

Linky can be very helpful to open links lists, all threads on a forum page, linked photos in a single blogpost or forum at once. It is the first add-on for the Google Chrome browser that brings part of that functionality to the browser.
