Display Text on Desktop

If you keep your schedule, grocery shopping list, project ideas or a beautiful poem, you can embed that information right onto your Windows desktop automatically with a free and simple desktop tool KlogShow.

KlogShow is used to display the contents of text files in semitransparent windows on the desktop, and keeps any changes updated in real time.

It is easy to use. After installation, right click the system tray icon and choose Configure option. Enable the Files tab and add the local files you want to display. Multiple files are allowed and it is possible to display more than one file at the same time.

Then switch to the General tab to customize the display style including text style and color, background color and transparency. Give a title bar or scroll bar if you like. However, you cannot edit the text, unless you edit the original text file and upload it to Klogshow again.

Then right click the system tray icon again, choose Log Select to check the text file you just uploaded. The text window display on the desktop.

Note, The windows are not part of the active desktop but in fact are semitransparent floating windows. Move the text window to a suitable place on the desktop. Each text window will associate a task bar entry, though it would be better if the Hide option hided the task bar entries only instead of both text window and task bar entries.

Anyway a simple tool, but has features needs to be improved.
