Microsoft Office 2010, codenamed Office 14, is the successor of Microsoft Office 2007. Office 2010 includes extended file compatibility, user interface updates and a refined user experience. And now Microsoft Office 2010 is under beta version, meanwhile, Microsoft has confirmed that Office 2010 will be released in June 2010.
If you want to check for any Office add-ins and determine if they will migrate safely to Office 2010, you could use the recently released tools for IT organizations: Office Environment Assessment Tool beta and Office Code Compatibility Inspector beta.
1. Office Environmental Assessment Tool (Check for any macros or third-party applications)
Download and run Office Environmental Assessment Tool.

Click on “Scan your system” to perform a scan of your system.

A XML file will be created which contain the information collected such as 000C29617870.xml.
To run Office Environmental Assessment Tool on more than one system, you could try “Run Wizard” to configure OEAT to run on several computers.
Then, after information has been collected from the system scanned, use Compile result to compile XML files into a Excel Spreadsheet report.
